BUXOUT - CLOSED

As planned, I was visiting the PTC sites I have recently signed up for. I went to Buxout.com and this message came up:

I was not actually surprised because this is one of the sites that I did not research much on. However, it still bothers me that a PTC site can just vanish out of thin air.

This incident has been a wake-up call for me. Now, with other PTC Sites that I have signed up for, I will do everything to get my investments back first. After I get my money back, then that's the time that I will be comfortable renting or purchasing referrals in order to make more money.

My PTC To-Do List for 2009

2008 has not marked the end of my PTC experiment. Rather, I am left with more questions and the hunger to explore further.

I already found Neobux. So far, this has been the only site that has proven that earning from PTC sites is a reality. However, the mere fact that I am earning from one site does not have to stop me from looking for other PTC sites that pay.

Here's a little checklist that I've come up with in order to take my PTC experiment to another level for 2009. I have the tools, the basic knowledge, and hopefully I will have enough time to set things in motion and to have all my conclusions confirmed before this year ends.

My PTC checklist:
1. Revisit previous PTC sites that I previously signed up for.
2. Sign up or look for at least two (2) PTC sites everyday.
3. Maintain a list of all the PTC sites I have joined and monitor/track all earnings - paid and unpaid.
4. Build my referral network.
5. Keep this blog updated.

I am as always open to any suggestions or recommendations. I would love to hear from anyone who wants to share anything about PTCs - good or bad.

Neobux Update: Upgrade to Golden Membership

Last November 14, 2008, I decided to take my Neobux membership a notch higher: I decided to sign up for Golden Membership.

I have thought about this decision for weeks. I made some calculations and possible scenarios. After all the hassles, I decided that it's worth trying, especially if I really want to earn a lot of money in a short time from PTCs.

It's been almost two weeks since I signed up and my stats will speak for themselves. At this stage in the game, it's still too early to tell if I made the right decision. But if what's happening with my Neobux account keeps on happening for another month, or another year, then it's definitely a good investment decision. I'll keep you posted, especially if I have earned my money back and once I'm starting to reap profits.

Bux.To: Still Waiting for my First Payment

Finally! I got my own internet connection at home. I'll be able to update this blog and share all my experience with PTC sites. As you will remember, the first PTC site I registered for was Bux.To. For those who read my previous posts, you know the story already. Allow me to share the story for the new readers.

I heard from a friend that this site actually pays. However, I forgot to check the TOS and forums. So I purchased referrals for $35.00. Soon enough, I had $10 in my account. I requested payout and patiently waited for 60 business days. I requested $10 last May 28, 2008, and I hoped to get the money by August 20, 2008.

The month of August ended and I still haven't received my payment request. That's when I decided to submit a ticket and browse through the forums. I received a prompt response. If the ticket system is online, you may look for this ticket number: 17Y8ZDR4R9L. You may also refer to this thread:
http://buxbb.com/index.php?showtopic=29766.

As of November 4, 2008, Bux.to has already processed payment requests as of March 14, 2008. To date, I have $128.00 in my Bux.to account. I probably have to wait for 2 more months before I can get my $ 10.00, and another 8 to 10 months before I can get the remaining funds.

Until I get my first payment, I won't be recommending this site. You may sign up for free, but it takes a very long time to get a return of your investment if ever you decide to purchase referrals from this site.

NEOBUX: I GOT MY FIRST PTC PAYMENT

Finally! I stumbled upon a PTC site that actually pays. It does not only pay, it pays instantly!

I joined Neobux on 06/23/2008. Unfortunately, I still did not have internet connection at home so I was not able to actively click on this site. Since Neobux suspends accounts that are inactive for 30 days, my account was even temporarily suspended and I lost around $0.20 worth of clicks. My bad, since I did not read the Terms of Service.

I learned my lesson, so everytime I have the chance, I check on my Neobux account. Last September, a friend of mine, who's also a member of Neobux told me that this site really pays. So I became more excited, and decided that I needed to rent referrals in order to prove first hand that the site really pays.

At a very cheap cost ($3), I had 10 referrals. In addition to what I earn for clicking at least 4 ads a day, I am starting to earn from my referrals. And on 10/29/2008. I got my first payment from Neobux!

Stay Away from Foxcash.net

It's been almost a week since I last logged in to my PTC accounts. Unfortunately, when I tried to login to Foxcash.net, I got an error message saying that my userID does not exist. I tried to recover my account using my e-mail address but unfortunately, the process did not work for me as well. It's a good thing that I only earned around $2.00 from Foxcash. However, I will not be able to recover the time I spent actually earning that amount.

There wasn't even any notice in my e-mail address as to what could have been the reason why my account suddenly disappeared. I am the kind of person who reads through details, terms and conditions and other stuff, before signing up, so I'm 100% sure that I DID NOT violate any of the rules.

I was on the verge of recommending this site due to the fact that it pays a little higher compared to other PTCs. It pays $0.015 per ad clicked. The estimate timeframe for processing payouts was 30 business days -- also shorter compared to other PTCs.

I attempted to purchase referrals but I found it a little risky. If you will be using your credit card to purchase referrals, you will need to e-mail the confirmation to them before they process your request (other PTCs process these types of transaction through alertpay and other secure online payment websites).

With everything said, I encourage everyone to cancel their Foxcash.net accounts. You might not be losing that much money, but you might be better off spending your precious time on other PTC sites that will not mysteriously delete your account for no reason at all.

My First PTC: Bux.to

I was introduced to PTCs by a friend of mine. Bux.to is the first site she referred to me. I signed up last May 2008 and was immediately enticed to purchase 35 referrals for $35.00.

Vital Stats (for free members):
- average number of Ads per day: 10
- payment per ad clicked: $0.01
- payment per referral click: $0.01
- minimum amount required for payment: $10
- processing time: 60 business days
- payment mode: Alertpay
- can purchase referrals: yes

The Perks:
Bux.to allows you to click on an average of 10 sites per day if you are a free member. If you are lucky, they offer up to 18 ads on a daily basis. You get an instant credit of $0.05 after signing up and you get $0.01 for each ad you click and for each ad your referrals click. Most of the ads load instantly, so you spend around 30-45 seconds per ad.

In-betweens:
The minimum payout is $10.00. This is relatively low and easy to reach, assuming you have purchased referrals -- 35 referrals will give you $10 in 3 to 5 days. If you do not have referrals, however, you will be able to earn $10 in around 3 months.

The downside:
You can only request one payout at a time. This means that you have to wait for your payment request to be processed before you can request another payment. If you are a free member, you will need to wait for 60 BUSINESS days (that's almost 3 months) before you can request another payout. If you are a Premium member, the processing time is 30 business days (still a long time to wait for $10, don;t you think?).

I got excited when I saw I have $10 so I immediately requested payment; that was on May 28, 2008. Assuming there will be no further delays, I will be able to request another payment by August 2008, and I already have around $60.00 in my Bux.to account (thanks to my purchased referrals) and I will probably have to wait for December before I can benefit from what I have invested at Bux.to.
